CONRAD PAPE FARMSTEAD AKA IONE FARM
Conrad Andreas Pape (1803-1884) and his first wife, Dorathea (Haufler) Pape (1809-1845) and their family of six (6) children, immigrated from Gadenstadt, Hanover, Germany, arriving at Indianola, Texas, in August 1845 on the ship, Hercules. They made their way initially to New Braunfels and by 1860 had moved to Smithson Valley in Comal County.
