In the Fall of 2020, the Conservation Society of San Antonio was contacted by Stephanie Dwyer, an individual who lived near the remains of the Bacon-Steubing Dairy Farm. Ms. Dwyer expressed concern the remaining buildings of the Steubing Dairy Farm located in her area at 6439 DeZavalaRoad, San Antonio, TX were in danger of being demolished for a strip mall or for development of additional new apartments in the area. It was reported that the developer had indicated to neighbors in the area that the buildings were going to be saved.
